Ingredients for 4 people
- Half Jijona nougat’s tablet ( 150 g)
- 2 tablespoons rice drink
- 2 egg whites
- A pinch of salt
Preparation: 20 minutes
Heat in a saucepan the rice drink and the sliced nougat and cook over low heat.
Stir until it’s melted and it becomes a thick and creamy mass (without lumps).
Remove from heat and let cool in the fridge for 2 hours.
(…) Beat the whites of the eggs, with a pinch of salt, until they are stiff.
Stir the nougat’s mass and add the beaten egg whites with slow movements.
Serve the product into individual recipients and decorate it with some chocolate or crispy wafers.
This is an appropriate desert for Christmas, light although it’s very energetic because of the calories from almond, sugar and the nougat’s honey.
Trey to serve it in small recipients and that some of menu dishes are vegetal in order to help digestion and compensate calories.
